Krylon Fusion paint is made for plastic. I've used it on EPP many times, it adheres great and doesn't harm the foam no matter how heavy you paint it on.

I have heard that it is pretty wide open, but if you have had problems in the past, we want to get it right, I may do the same thing.

Anyone else have experience with the types of paint that work well on the EPP planes?

Sorry for the delayed response

Yes any paint on EPP is fine, I couldn't find a paint that would warp EPP?

Just got mine, looks awesome as always. The foam is incredibly stuff and precisely cut. Looking forward to flying it!

Thanks for the excellent build cdee. So many planes coming out lately, may be a good enough reason to get a house.

Excellent... Kits are starting to arrive. I basically built mine in about two days, ie one evening, most of the following day and part of the next morning. There are a couple areas where you will want the glue to have lplenty of time to set up, so do those things at the end of your building day so they have enough time to cure. The only thing I would have done differently is to have used 16 inch servo extension instead of 12 inch. I have yet to fly mine with the SFGs, I was trying to think of some clever way to make them removable.

I keep a pretty close watch on the threads during the day and early evening.. if there are any questions I will answer them as quickly as possible.

Oh.. I was able to get all my build pictures into a single post, so that freed up one of the others that I had reserved. I thought it would be fun for that one to show possible Upgrades and Mods that are being done to this airframe.

Enjoy your builds!

I don't know if you are familiar with the Skywing planes but they have a pretty good method for removable sfg's. They have small blocks of wood inlaid in both the wing tips and the sfg, the hole in the sfg is big enough for a screw to pass through and the hole in the wing part is of course smaller so the screw will bite good. This system works very well. Or you could just glue a whole piece of light ply on the wing tip and run the screw through it as opposed to small inlaid blocks. This would also act as a spacer so the aileron won't rub on the sfg.

The Side Force Generators on this plane are kinda like the SFG on the Crack planes, there are inboard from the wing tips, so it will need to be something a little different. There was a Post from Ido a while back, he suggested to leave the SFG off at first, so I did. I do want to add them on and try at sometime, just have not done so yet.
