Yeah sorry i shoulda read the instructions all the way through...
What prop/motor/esc/batt are were using on this, what power output are we getting and what flight times? As yet undecided what combo to get, lotttsa power would be good... I want fast vertical performance if poss. |

I initially used CA to glue in the cf spars but CA is brittle and broke loose in a few places. I then used some Beacons 3-in-1(advanced craft glue...it's like the foam tac) and have had good luck so far. :-)
I used the White Gorilla glue on a different plane recently and was kind of disappointed with it. Like the original GG much better. |

For those that are running the torque 2818/900 motor, has anyone tried using a small 4s pack?
I like crazy power! Also, after reading thru all the threads, I could not tell if there is any consensus on the 78g or 100g set up. Which is overall the ideal set up for this foamy? Thanks |

I am using the torque motor, but have not tried a 3s pack. I run an apc 12x6 electric prop. To me, it has plenty power. It jumps out of a hover, and accelerates going up. I wish my gassers jumped like this. I would imagine on a 4s you would need to drop down to a 9x6 or 10x6, but I have no idea. It makes great power the way it is.

When i fit the wing, there is a gap/slot at the rear of the wing, in the fuz, where the ailerons sit.
It looks like to faciliate entry of the wing? Shouldnt this be plugged up with some old foam? What is this gap for?. Clearly this gap at the back of the wing in the airframe is going to weaken it quite a lot... Thx. |

We're getting there. Getting close, just install and motor fit. This is a monster compared to my other planes.
![]() I need your help here guys, so what wattage motor/prop/esc do i need to get decent accelaration out of prop hangs? I was comparing my Crack Yak and Pitts today, the pitts has a lot more power as it has a hyperion motor. Really noticed it today, as there was no wind. I want to get this right with the telink, Id rather spend a few more $$ to get more power, and get the performance i want. Is the 78 or 100g motor gonna give me this? Thanks guys. |
