Yes i meant aileron hinges. Almost all competition gliders have rudders, you need it for coordinated turns. And zeb, the ion ds-57mgs are perfect for a mini topsky. I intern there and just packaged up a whole bunch!

Baseball already? Spring training I assume

FPV might be banned soon in some certain states, I hope that the bill doesn't go through, especially for the people of Oregon!

Super. Ailerons let you turn better, Direct the plane during climb out, handle wind a bit better and it comes out of turns smoother.

I'm getting the super. Here's my setup.

DLG:
http://www.hobbyclub.com/product_inf...oducts_id=1198
$140.00

Battery:
http://www.hobbyclub.com/product_inf...oducts_id=1280
20.00

Servos (Buy 4):
http://www.hobbyclub.com/product_inf...oducts_id=1176
$40.00

Voltage Regulator:
http://www.hobbyclub.com/product_inf...40e5857695f565
$13.00

Total: 215.00

I have a AR6115e RX that I can use, so my price will be a bit cheaper.

Super mini has ailerons: so its worth the extra $30 or whatever it is. The ailerons are really clean and make aerobatics much better. Let me know if you get one.
Lately i have noticed a lot of interest in dlg on this thread: thats awesome. There are hardly any young people into the sport. Once all of you interested upgrade to a 1.5 meter dlg, we might see each other at contests. Just do one thing for yourself: dont tip strike on launch!

The AR6115e I can already bet will not fit in the pod... I'm guessing that the pod is 1'' or less in width. So you need something TINY, and FULL RANGE.

Oh and BTW Jason you can thank me for the DLG interest on this thread

Nah. It'll fit it's about 3/4 of an inch wide. Front pins so it can fit better. And I think I'll be fine on a park flyer. The park flyer has like 700ft range found that out the hard way

That's one thing I like about DLG. It's kinda the only "Sport" in RC. I mean, rc is a "sport" to some degree, but it does not really deliver any lf the physical aspects of a sport. But it sure does require skill

700ft range is horrible for a DLG, you'll run out of range in no time. I flew 2,100 feet away with my PopWing (FPV) and I thought it was only 1,000 feet away.

You don't want a lockout. Get something full range, even OrangeRX if needed.

Thanks Dan! And yeah haha it is the only one you get excercise unless you go sloping, then you have to hike up and down some pretty big hills.
Oh and i will personally come and hurt you if you go fly with 700 feet of range. Haha but seriously you will need the extra range
