I have the 20 and the 111, my buddy has the new 35RA but nothing to put it on, his kitbuit was too tail havy to use it. I have seen the 55 out at the field and it is good as well

I am biased towards the 1.5 meters, they are so much better for performance. I have not heard of the solo dlg. And dan i guess you could build your own, but you would need to be very good if you wanted to have good flight characteristics.

Oh and if you want a nice mini dlg get an x ray micro dlg. Get it from skipmillermodels. They are very good

No I mean building one from a kit/ARF like you find today on most places, not a scratchbuild LOL

Brushed or brushless? If it's brushed it might need the brushes cleaned/replaced. If it's brushless, may need to be rewound. Motors can run fine in water but they will rust if not dried properly. I always dry the brushed motor on my rustler with an air compressor.

I have seen it. Get the one with ailerons, it can be fun for aerobatics. They are pretty fun just to mess around with, but it will be challanging to thermal. The topsky 1c on that website was my 2nd ever plane, it is really nice for how much it costs
