Same here. I don't know where you live, but the only downside here is that the wind blowing off the pacific ocean is about 45 degrees, and add wind chill and chronic overcast-ness to that, and that means you are freakin' cold. I've been in the snow quite a bit, and I'd rather fly in the snow in a slight breeze than slope in those conditions.

Fall is the best time to fly here. Spring is meh. Winter's full of rainstorms. Summer is foggy and freezing.

LOL guys today was about 45 degrees with wind too... it was cold. So a 45 degree wind isn't really that cold. Just.. wear gloves! Below 30 is getting freezing

Not much but when it blew it was probably around 10 MPH or so. It was worse before though. And I can already tell what you're going to say next

I'm trying to find this website that charts weather history. I found it once... it showed the wind patterns... for the last 12 months the lowest the breeze has gotten to was about 10mph, average 15 . Record high for the city was 73degrees, record low 34degrees. It was to explain why I spend so much time on RCG and so little flying .

No matter how cold it is, sloping in under 45 degree conditions is a pain. Gloves, warm hat, ski goggles are all necessities.

Lol. Very true. I've got exam block next week. Good thing is that we knock off at 2:30 and not 3:00 so some flying may be in order.

Any of you guys do robotics? I joined the robotics team at my school but I've never really done any robotics myself. Well, most of the other new people haven't either.
