Guys. I'm thinking of giving up on this 3D thing. I like the big scale warbirds. But I still want to fly 3D but it seems sooooo freakin expensive.

Look up F5B. Some of the fastest RC competition planes in the world are designed to thermal well . Hotliners.

It's not expensive in the long term as long as you don't crash.

I built and painted a GWS FW-190 about 4 years ago. I never got around to putting a power system in, so it's never seen flight. Until now! I'll be ordering the parts soon. I'm thinking servo-less retracts and cherry wood lacquer finish 10x4 prop for best effect.
