Awesome guys... just ordered two 1300 mAH 3S 20C Turnigy packs from Hobby King, coming this week

$20.80 shipped from the US warehouse, not bad and those things are great quality, just need to throw on some Deans (actually I use the HK knock-offs, LOL) connectors and they'll work great. The 1100 mAH 15C pack really isn't good for the PopWing and it doesn't have enough power.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=14987

So... that makes 3 good 1300 mAH 3S packs (all 20C) for a good, 1 and a half hours of flying, sounds good!

That was me before I bought my first round of Gens Aces and Sky Lipos. They are the truest rated packs of the budget lines, are lighter, and are constructed much better than Turnigies...

Try 'em out. You'll be glad you did

I'm thinking of building the EPP-FPV next, because it's huge and the wind doesn't affect it as much. Flying in the wind with the PopWing really isn't that great and it gets blown around a lot

I think it was zmonster that mentioned it a little bit back in this thread that I should get something big... and I think I will

LOL dude we're talking $70 for the plane, $40 for a motor/ESC, $25 for metal geared servos, and $30 for a 5000mAH 3S battery pack

That's $165, plus I'm going to need to pay for shipping and a bit of CA glue too
