I like climbing more. And then abseiling down. Will probably end up getting killed from it as i tie my own harness and only buy the descender and krabs (dont laugh please). If there are no decent faces around just trying to get to the top of the mountain and down again in the least conservative way is still fun.

Thanks! You should test out FPV on your Radian first though. The quad uses a 2S or a 3S? I know the Radian takes a 3S, so you can power the ESC, motor, and vTX/cam through one pack. Plus quads are much harder to learn FPV on. If you're on a budget, go for the PNP cable that you can get so that you can use the GoPro for live video out too! I wouldn't recommend you trying 5.8 GHz though - it is the worst FPV frequency out there, for the most part. Study up, get your HAM and go for 900 mHz, or even better - 1.3 GHz.

So it would be something like this for you:

-use Radian w/3S to power cam too
-GoPro PNP cable: $5
-TX/RX: $75-$100 (good quality)
-antenna: $30-40

So you're looking at about $150 ish if you already have a display to show the feed on also, hmmm....
