I can measure resistance in Ohms with my multimeter too.... should I test it out?
Sigh... No. Not unless you know exactly what you're doing, and precisely what to look for, without someone (me) having to explain it step by step. The more you mess with it, the more likely it is that you'll inadvertently damage it. Just leave it alone until you have a motor to run with it. In all likelihood the thing works just fine. It's not like you were flashing firmware and replacing FETs; all you did was add new leads to the board. Worse case, you go back and redo a joint and it's all better.
