TONS of people fly without the license... but not me! That's stupid, I mean why not just get it?! You can get fined $10,000 and have your equipment confisticated if the FCC finds out people! Yikes! And yet so many people get away with it. I know 3 people already that are operating the equipment illegally, 2 from here on RCG and 1 on YouTube.

Haha no, but if you're going to school to become a drone pilot or DJ that uses the radio frequencies at higher powers, it would probably be required.

nah ill stick with my dream of being a usps/ups/fed-ex postal pilot. ya know that dumb job thing we always do i school? it said after like 35 years of being a postal pilot id get like 325 an hour!!

Had the biggest fail at the field yesterday. Went to do my bronze wings (it allows you to fly solo but most people dont bother getting them) yesterday. Fiirst flight for the new used plane and just lifts off and flops over on the runway. Im standing there thinking what the hell just happened. Go and check back at the pits i had the ailerons going the wrong way. Didnt reverse them. This was the first time the instructor had seen me fly and asked the other fellas if i even knew how to fly. According to mum they all said you should see him fly that thing.

Dude I meant on the internet. djmedic2008 is easily making $1000 a day just for having his videos up there and uploading new stuff and videos of him having a blast with his R/Cs. Careers can be as fun as you want them to be!
That Gangman Style video... seen it a million times (literally ) that guy has easily hit over $125,000 just from that video.
