Yeah it's like the motor's torque is controlled to make it turn either way... tricopters have better yaw though

Your right about the yaw and tricopters. But a side affect of better yaw is compromised performance in pitch, roll and weight carrying ability

Exactly! Looking at 450s... hmmm, I already have my two Solar servos which would be good for the cyclics (would only need one more)... so I'd really only need a battery, and gyro to complete the kit with everything else that I have coming, hmmmm, but maybe a 450 needs 4 channels? My HeliMax only had 5, and my mCPX had 4, but this is larger...

You managed to break hitec servos. The solar servos would fall apart when you looked at them

Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhaahhaaahaaaaa.... dude you've never even looked at a solar servo, those worked for the RUDDER and ELEVATOR of my EDGE, NO binding or buzzing so on a 450... beautiful. And aren't you using HXT900s on your 250 anyways? LOL

I think I had a solar servo in my slash 4x4. It lasted all of 1/2 a battery pack. The case broke!

BTW my favorite servo is savox got one in my buggy, 0.08sec@291ozin torque

Yeah Savox servos are the best from what I've heard! But heck those A107 Solars that I got rock!

Hmm... glad they are working out well for you, and I hope they continue to do so. But I still wouldn't buy any

But you ARE using HXT900s for a 250... Yeah a 450 would be interesting... but I think it would be better to stick with planes for now

But I am NOT using HXT900s. Turnigy TG9e has worked out well for me. I had them in a losi micro for steering, and it held up to my crashing and was very quick so I decided to use them in the 250
