yep $1000+ for 3 axis

$1K for gimbal, $1K for controller... (not much less than the way overpriced Z15)

it is good that they have "rolled their own"

$1050 for the 3 modules to be exact

Except from what I am hearing the Z15 hasn't turned out all that great right? And aren't you limited on the type of cameras you can carry with the Z15?

have you seen the footage from the z15? It is the best footage I have ever seen and I hate the DJI business model.

but that is besides the point.

I love the cinestar gimbal, not a huge fan of the price of the new radian controllers

Not really. Looks like I need to watch some more videos. Do you have some good ones to reference?

Thanks man!

with all due respect.... Have you even looked for real z15 footage?

how about this whole thread?

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1606649

Bas Keep's Day At House Park (3 min 27 sec)

DJI Zenmuse Z15 AP--Power Lines: Forest: Exploration (3 min 36 sec)

Hell even this
Firset flight test with Z15-N (3 min 16 sec)

Bungee Jumping + Hexacopter (DJI S800) (1 min 49 sec)

high wind flight
High WInd Test (Uncle Daves Lake House) (1 min 45 sec)

DJI Zenmuse Z15 AP Awesome Collection (2 min 52 sec)

DJI Zenmuse Z15 - First test. (4 min 36 sec)

those are a mixture of DJI and end users videos and every one of them looks ROCK solid.

look the z15 has its limitations and is over priced, but my only point here is that the CineStar+ Radein is simialr price (3 axis for 3 axis)

and the z15 has better stabilization.

there are reasons to use the CS over the z15 (i was just hoping the price of the stabilization was lower than it is)

the Free Fly setup looks good, though I have not seen it equal the locked in type footage as the z15.... but the flexibility of cameras is a benefit
