Cool
Leomotion Brushless Motors

This turned up today. Too pretty to hide in a fuselage I think!

Has anyone got any setup data they would like to share on the L3031-4350 or Leomotion motors in general?

I believe you can search for data on the NEU1112/1.5D and find data that will be surprisingly similar to your Leo.

Eh.....no. But there are more motor brands than factories in this business. Comparing sizes and specs from the ranges gives some clues as to which ones are in family.
Plastik: you already know this

Just to clarify the relationship between Leomotion and Neu I asked Urs directly and his response was essentially:

He's been an agent for Neumotors in Europe for many years and a friend of Steve's for 25 years now so share a lot of knowledge. Consequently on the electric design side their motors are quite similar.

However the design and production of Leomotion motors is all his. For example all his motors have a cooling, even the smallest L30 with gearbox.

He expects Neu will start to offer the Leomotion L30 gearbox in the near future.

He is very proud that his motor are sturdy but nice looking.

I recall he has won aworld championship or two so I suspect he knows a thing or two about motors and flying.....
