My 550 arrived today! It spent a lot of time in transit from Asia, but once it arrived in the country it got to me quickly. Exactly two hours and sixteen minutes with Canada Customs, the next day it had made the 1000km+ trek from Vancouver to Edmonton and was at my door.
![]() It took me about three and a half seconds to get that box opened and into the contents. I must say, I'm very happy with the quality of this stuff! I have an HK-250GT (1st generation) and a 450GT ProTT, this tops the quality of both of those by a long shot. Very nice machining on all the metal parts! I haven't taken anything apart, I'd like to do a build video so I have to be patient. The CF is nice, but a bit thin for the application. I think it will hold up fine, but this is one of the corners they cut. The linkage rods are also thinner than I would expect, this has been mentioned earlier in the thread. The canopy is 100% fromage. Thin plastic, already cracked. I may reinforce the cracked plastic with fibreglass and fly it, but historically I've replaced the canopies on most of my helicopters to make them my own, I can't see why I won't do the same with this one. I had talked earlier of doing a 12S system, I'll have to see how the battery configuration will work. I may just sell my 500kv motor and get a proper motor for 6S. |

Just received and fitted these they seem to give perfect geometry and are a very good fit even before the pinch bolts are done up.

That's electric, mine was a nitro. The reason it's defunct isn't because it's been crashed, it never has been. Sadly our club is a noise sensitive site, so several of us have decided to go down the electric route. My 600N was grounded because I couldn't get it under the 82bB noise level set by the BMFA (British Model Flying Association, the equivalent of the U.S. AMA) and DOE (department of enviroment). To be totally honest I prefer the electrics, they are just so much more convenient so the old 600 was decommissioned and is being used as a donor for parts for my HK600 and HK550.
Edit: just been back and read the ad, I didn't notice it was a conversion kit .

And the kit above is to convert your Nitro to electric.
