Lost my FPV plane... Found with my FPV Quad.

While testing the new Skylark 2.4ghz tx, all-in-one suite, on my little Cloud Fly, the old futaba receiver had an issue.
The plane went down in the tall wetland grass, a little over 1/4 mile away.
Looked at the flight recording and got the GPS Coordinates. put the coordinates in my hand held Garmin and went for a walk... did not find it right away, so went back and flew the Naza 450 with GPS to get a better idea of where it was. The Naza quad also has the Skylark all-in-one on it.
See the video for the whole drama. LOL

Your Cloudfly crashed due to a classic problem that plane (and the bixler) have-- the vertical stabilizer is too small. When you slow down too much the tail washes out and it does exactly what you see in the video. You should either extend it upwards about an inch or two with a piece of foam, or just make a new one. I just extended mine up, and it flies amazing. I put a 2.5 inch extender on my bixler, and it works just as well, no more uncontrollable spiraling dives, so I can fly it as aggressive as I want and not worry about washing out the tail.

I can upload a picture if you want to see how I did it

wow what a great idea on using the quad! When I lost my plane I didnt have to look for it for long as I had tracking. Get yourself an easy GPS tracker and you won't need to look for long.
