That happens. i have never had a plane that survives for more than a year. I get bored and start to see exactly how low/close/fast I can get to the edges.

yeah, mine only lasted a few months, then it started to weigh a billion pounds, however, I know someone at my club that has had one for more than 3 years!

I know, I think it is the best looking EPP 3D from FF...
You know, when I had my FF/LF Edge 540, it was using the heaviest electronics possible - 18A ESC, 1000mAh 3s Li-Po, and 9g servos for rudder/elevator instead of 5g for rudder/elevator.

This time I am using way lighter electronics

Don't know yet for sure, but I may be using a Thunderbird-9 ESC and a 2, or maybe 3s Li-Po. SG-92R servos (40% more torque than SG-90, but same specs, they have CF gears and control horns) for the ailerons, as well as SG-50 for rudder and elevator as usual. Motor? HURC (HeadsupRC) 2712-12 1300kV motor. Prop? Probably the GWS EP 1147, it produces about 12.5oz of thrust at 8 amps with a pitch speed of about 18MPH (on a 2s Li-Po). On a 3s Li-Po, I will probable use the GWS EP 9050, it produces about 17oz of thrust at 9 amps, with a pitch speed of 34MPH. This will be pushing the ESC, so I will have to watch my throttle input, and especially watch my hovering, which is pretty much all I do....
