This looks cool. I'm going to keep it in mind for future reference. Quads have always looked cool, I think I'll start with that $18 mini-quad that's here on RCG first though.
Oh, btw, I love that you correctly call grams "mass" and not "weight" as so many people incorrectly do. Calling grams (or kg) weight is the same as saying I weight 4.82 slugs, it's incorrect. My mass is 4.82 slugs, my weight is 155 lbs. P.S. For those who don't know, the unit of force (used for weight) in the SI system is the Newton (N), which is the SI equivalent of the FPS system's "pound". Multiply the mass in kilograms by 9.81 to get the weight in Newtons. |

Hey Nick,
Ive test flown it in my office and it's a great flying machine! Thanks for the excellent plan and tutorials! Have yet to put the landing gear and the FPV equip. yet. My set up are as follows: G10 2mm Frame 12mm Alum. Arms KDA 924kv Motors on 8x4.5(that's what I have at hand) Hobby Wings 4in1 ESC KK Boards with MEMS from www.multircshop.com |
