Nice build. I see you used the square dowel rod as your spacers. That is a great option for people not able to source the delrin rod.

I would probably run a different motor the gopro/gimbal setup has a mass of 500g. I would look at a 28/26 size motor like the NTM prop drives or Ipowers or Sunnyskys.

My quad rtf with fpv gear sits right around 1150-1200g you would be sitting closer to 1600g rtf with your gimbal setup.

This looks cool. I'm going to keep it in mind for future reference. Quads have always looked cool, I think I'll start with that $18 mini-quad that's here on RCG first though.

Oh, btw, I love that you correctly call grams "mass" and not "weight" as so many people incorrectly do. Calling grams (or kg) weight is the same as saying I weight 4.82 slugs, it's incorrect. My mass is 4.82 slugs, my weight is 155 lbs.

P.S. For those who don't know, the unit of force (used for weight) in the SI system is the Newton (N), which is the SI equivalent of the FPS system's "pound". Multiply the mass in kilograms by 9.81 to get the weight in Newtons.

Still considering which FC to use as I've KK and GAUI at my disposal.

Looking good. What material are you using for the center plates?

Edit, I just looked up and you say its G10. From the pictures it looks more like a wood of some sort.

12mm Alum. Arms
KDA 924kv Motors on 8x4.5(that's what I have at hand)
Hobby Wings 4in1 ESC
