Mine ordered Sunday went out this evening, too. But delivery to Fl won't be until next Monday. We're counting on you, Doubletap, to have pictures and assembly tips posted soon!

Man! Compuatic, just too hear the excitement in your tex, it's going to put a dent in my wallet
I'm interested for sure! I love soaring and this seems like it would fit the ticket for endless FPV soaring! I just built the Bixler and love it.
Please post many pics.

To all of you who have received your SSS.
PICS AND VIDEO PLEASE!
Anything and everything helps. I'd really like to a picture with something common visible for reference.
Also, and probably more importantly, what are your general impressions?

SSS Received!

OMG!!! This foamy toy plane is Effin' ginormous!! The SSS arrived today , it was shipped double boxed and arrived intact and complete. Here are a few pics and initial observations.

The pics will not do this monster justice, I guess, anyone that is curious beyond what will be posted should just get one themselves and see for themselves. here are Some crappy unboxing pics with one of my little point and shoot pocket cameras.

All major components were well packaged and cushioned. It was already mentioned that the wing rod is "very beefy", well it is actually massive, measuring a solid 13mm OD, and approx. 49.25" long. The landing wheel appears to be a nice quality rubber semi-pneumatic approx. 4" diameter. 2 8"x7" props included. The brushless motor is a 35mm diameter outrunner. Cool looking pilot already installed under the clear canopy. Did I mention this thing is ginormous? All the loose hardware wee zip lock bagged and taped to the inside of the inner box. all the decals were pre-installed thanks goodness! On to the crappy pics.
