Is there any dihedral built in where the wing halves join?

It is not a fight, just a difference in opinion. It is an indisputable fact however that "real" (full scale) planes are flown with coordinated aileron and rudder except in special circumstances such as cross-wind landings. You can fly your models any way you wish.

I hate these pressed moulds with no reinforcement, and eventually these are going to rip off.

I have a ton of glass cloth here (a result of one of my drunken ordering sprees i imagine), and i had great success using it to reinforce my icon a5 using CA.

Thoughts on using strips of glass cloth dipped into the recesses with an inch before & after the flaps / ailerons? I know it would hold, i'm just looking for a long term strong solution.
I laminate my rudder, ail, flaps and elev with 5mm lam from ritewing. Great strong and light stuff. I hinge all controls but hinge tape will do.

Stock motor test performed today. Thought some of you guys might be interested. I plan on using the Super Sky Surfer to carry gopros. I was not happy with the weight of the spars so I cut them out of the wing and partially fiberglassed the top and bottom surfaces. I think it will be a nice weight savings. The plane barely fits in my car fully assembled.

A few of the early ads said 8x6. Most other documentation says 8x7. Flip a coin.

Many people have tossed the fiberglass solid spar and put in a carbon-fiber tube from Goodwinds in Washington state. Works for me, and saves some 240 grams.
