The official review of the ESM Texan II will be up on RCGroups soon. I love every bit of this very unique aircraft; the way it handles and the sound as it passes is amazing.

Awesome airplane. I am thinking about buying one of these and I was wondering what you did for battery access?
Based on the video it looks like it is a very nice flier. I have been flying an 88" extra electrified. Would you say the level of required skill is about the same to fly the Texan? Thanks in advance.

Landing and takeoff require a bit of attention due to the large ventral fin under the horizontal stabilizer. It's easy to strike it on takeoff if you pull back too much on the elevator or flare excessively on landing. However, this minor issue only makes flying her more fun. The wing must be removed to access the battery tray, which I built right on top of the plywood servo/fuel tank tray.
