HET Me262 nacelles

Does anyone know how to correctly fit the HET 6904 edf units inside the HET Me 262 nacelles The fans have external locating tabs 180 degrees apart, like the vast majority of EDF units, but they do not have corresponding internal mounting locations. In fact, I can't figure out how they are mounted at all. I did consider cutting slots in the walls, but would rather wait for some good advice before I wreck something. The nacelles are going on a scratchbuild AR 234, which is currently pusher powered. Any advice welcome

I'm really interested in the HET Me 262. So I am sorry you are not getting an answer. It seems like the better alternative to a foam PNP 262 where you basically scrap everything but the servos. Just last week I suddenly lost my disgust for props on jets, and I think that this would be a great plane for having twin pushers in the rear of the nacelles. Did you get the retracs and gear set they sell for it?

Pattern,
Send an email Robert at Robert@EJF.com
I have not built one yet myself, so I'm not sure, but there's got to be a 'textbook' way of getting them in there.

finally got back

Thanks for the replies Condre and Acemigkiller I don't get notification if someone replies, so It's only when I get back into RCG that I find out. I ended up contacting HET myself, and they emailed me some pic's from their instruction manual. It seems that you have to cut the mounting lugs off, and then place the EDF unit between two inner sleeves that are normally supplied when you buy the whole kit. Now I know a bit more, I am sure I can fabricate something up. It does seem strange that no-one appears to make an affordable foamie ME 262, as I'm sure that they would be popular. Lets see how I go with putting these two nacelles together cheers
