New Product
OrangeRX 3-Axis Flight Stabilizer 14g (advertised)

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=25448

just got the email today. seems its a 3 axis gyro for the OrangeRx. AUW is stated at 14g.
i think this would be perfect for a 60g plane.

It's a 3 axis rate gyro with manually adjustable rates for any receiver - not just the Orange ones.

Also has external pins for the 6 programming lines for firmware upgrades by the look of it - just guessing here though.

Built in Y connection for 2 aileron servos but otherwise pretty much the equivalent of the Eagle 3D sold by Hobby King as the i86 stabiliser.

No remote gain or on/off as far as I can see.

14 grams is crazy heavy. My EagleHobby 3-axis gyro board is only 9 grams. It can be seriously lightened by de-soldering the connectors and wiring direct to the board.

even with just clipping and removeing the3 case, should get it down to the 7g mark. couple that with the 5g of the r610, and its not bad.... im thinking a 30 inch 1S plane, in the 100 gram area.... should be nice. might even work as a trainer.

EDIT: one day i got to buy me a cheap accelometer and turn one of these in to a full auto pilot. roll and elevator.
