in theory a 929/mqx canopy should fit a LB class quad. they are both 4 arms so the holes will be aligned the same on both.

so long as the 929/mqx canopy is not so large as to hit the rotors it should fit fine (anyone have these so they can test the fit ??)

of course its one way. a LB canopy won't likely fit a 929 ship since its smaller. but the larger should fit the smaller.

v929 canopy just barely fits the v939. I haven't tried to fly with it but I assume the extra weight would affect performance. After a crash you would have to be careful that the canopy is perfectly aligned so the rotors don't hit it. One would be much better off sticking to the smaller size canopy for v939 and LB sized quads as the size difference is substantial.

Now this is reeealy tempting, as i could use my devo 7e and all my mini cp batterys for it.
id also get a second charger so i could charge more batterys at the same time.

Question is, how is everyone's experience with 9imod?
And has it been confirmed that the ladybird v2 only does manual flips?

PS, would it even be possible to fly in winds around 5 m/s with something as tiny as the ladybug v2? 8.5x8.5 cm isn't exactly much heh.

If you go through the order process at 9imod, when you reach the point where the shipping gets added, that's the deal buster. No options, just one ridicu;ously inflated price called "table rate" whatever that is... the product prices may seem attractive but that's where it ends.

Well, shipping on my order was only 15$ and thats with some extra cables and a up02 programmer for my mini. So thats not a issue.

Holy crap, thank you for noticing that. Who the calls a model without the electronics bnf?

Ill prob skip out on buying a quad then, as all i wanted was something cheap to fly besides my mini cp, and a bnf LB would let me reuse all my batterys / charger and my devo 7e.
Ill just repair and fly my v911's instead when the 9xr +frysky/flysky is released. Stock tx is utter crap, 0 throttle isnt 0 and it takes a 10 degree move on the stick before it even registers right rudder.

What are your impressions on the Devo 7e?
The gimbals look cheesy compared to the other devos (from internal and external pics), but a picture doesn't always paint a thousand words.
As the 7e has the same menu features as the 10 and is fairly cheap, curiosity is nibbling on my wallet again.

I make most of my own canopies out of paper, plastic bottles or jars etc., or craft foam sheets I'm not very good at it but it's cheap & fun

to the tune of beverly hillbillies of course, for those of us that can still remember back that far.

well I tried to fly my quad (u816) via video camera (got one of them wee tiny 2.4ghz camera's lighter than an 808 MUCH MUCH lighter)

its unflyable. Period.

it moves 5+ feet before you even "realize" via the video display that it has moved. side to side it noticiable but forward and back and "altitude" is invisible till its way way too late (whacked me in the head the first time)

the only way I could see it working is multiple camera's one to see where your going and one looking "down" so you can tell when it translates on X and Y and even then it would be really painful :-)

ohh the evil bug is nice plus I can merge my desired "tailboom" into that design really easily.
