I bought a ladybird clone on eBay and it is terrible to control compared to the ladybird.

I'm about 99% sure it'll bind with the 9x, but I guess it remains to be tested until someone actually has one.

And don't expect any of these clones to be as good as the walkera, they all have gyros only. The original ladybird flies so good because it has gyro and accelerometer.

Several of the clones have accellerometers also, such as the MJX X100 (3 gyro 3 accelerometers) and also the Mini Pet, (same setup I believe) both are advertised as "6 axis" Some reviews are saying even better than the ladybird with better construction... I do not own one so I cannot speak to that, but I have seen reviews from people claiming to own both and saying that...

I stand corrected... don't expect most of them to be as good

Thank you for correcting that

Is there a mqx/929 size with both?

Not that I know of yet, just the tiny ones as far as I know!

Its not the lack of accelerometer, it's the control, doesn't feel proportional, such as give it a bit of rudder and it overshoots when you stop, almost like it does a preset amount of yaw.

I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Walkera Ladybird (Devo 4 model) and also the Mini-pet.

I have both LB and SH6043 in compare, LB stand out hand down where the clone's control really like having lots of expo.

Is the LB the Devo4 version? I am quite curious as to how the Devo4 version can execute the flips.

By a stick sequence on the tx when powering on the bug, this changes the flight mode. Flips are not very tight and you need lots of height.
Wish I could bump up the throws.

Ok, so I suppose the flight mode switches to 3D upon activating that sequence? Is the flip pre-programmed like the other clones? I flip my SH6043 by pushing the elevator/ailerons to the maximum and I'm not too sure if it is the same for Devo4.

As for height clearance, I think its quite expected. I am not expecting very tight flips from these QRs. Usually I will give it about 3 metres clearance at least before I attempt to execute a flip.

How do we tell that these tiny quads are truly 3 gyros + 3 accelerometers, and not some marketing crap? Just a wild guess - they could have copied the V929, which only has 3 gyros.
