Hi Tony,
The UDI816 is the most challenging to fly due to the throttle stick sensitivity. Although I rank it at the bottom of the micros in my tests, It is still fun to fly. If a Noob can master the finesse on the sticks to make it hover and do circuits, they will develop skills that will serve them well on any multicopter. Like anymulticopter that uses an accelerometer, any excessive vibrations from motor, props or loose and weakened frame and arms will cause flight perfomance issues from oscillations to toilet bowl effect(TBE)

I do have some vibreations. one cracked arm I repaired, next two bashed up props glued and remounted, but had to throw them out and install new ones.
thanks for the info, i'll weed out the rest of the vibes. I really do see your point. because with new and smooth running parts it flies great till a crash and then starts to revolt.

Wish these micro RTF quads all came with some sort of way to program them to our liking.

They should allow you to change parameters to suit the pilot.

i.e. -1 less Expo.

I'm actually using some fpv equipment from my planes ported over to the micro quad... So it started a bit heavy... Bt I managed to bring the weight down considerably.. In fact the quad with all fpv gear and all batteries weighs just 83g giving me around 10 min of stable fpv flight...
I'm using a 10g cmos camera (which for micro fpv can be changed to a 1 or 2g camera) aswell as a 200 mw 5.8ghz video transmitter and some custom battery connectors and custom antenna...

Have you tried the V939 board with the H36 motorarms? I have a H36 but I dont like it too much...(I like the flying characteristics of the V949 much more...so I'm thinking about replacing the H36 board to V939... )

I thought the V929 was considered a mini-quad?

Guess so. Others are more nano (smaller).

Haven't done it yet. But this should work. You only need to solder plugs to the wires or solder motorarms directly to v939 pcb.
I have some H36 motorarms here but haven't found any time to build a v939/H36 hybrid.
