Right so I've been weighing up my options in terms of a first micro quadcopter, they're so damn cheap I just have to dip my toes in.
The MJX x100 looks like the way to go, given it's price, decent Tx and accelerometers for combating wind, but then I noticed the MJX x200! It's apparently larger, but is advertised as '3-axis' What does this mean to a newbie? Does it still do all the stuff that the x100 does? Thanks for any help, hopefully I'll have one of these monsters under the christmas tree sooon -Al |

If you like a funny wasp design you could also buy the v997. It's identical from a technical point of view, even radio is interchangeable with the x100. The same goes for MJX x100 spares. Both use very similiar parts in size fitting each other. Technically it's a 100% match as well, so you could utilize offers for the v997 spares. They just bring a new look. Of course if you want bigger. Have a look at the MJX x200 that aims at the mQX size. I compared LB with v939 which is praised for 9x radio compat. and didn't see equal contenders, but I liked the FlySky 9x compatibilty of the later. I guess the Vitality Aviator JJ-H36 can easily compete, maintaining FlySky 9x compatibilty the same time. Anyway for a beginner, I recommend v997 and x100 in the nano class or to start with a bigger one, micro size (mQX class) that are generally easier to pilot for quad starters. |
