They look and feel the same, just a little bit weight difference :P

Right so I've been weighing up my options in terms of a first micro quadcopter, they're so damn cheap I just have to dip my toes in.

The MJX x100 looks like the way to go, given it's price, decent Tx and accelerometers for combating wind, but then I noticed the MJX x200!

It's apparently larger, but is advertised as '3-axis' What does this mean to a newbie? Does it still do all the stuff that the x100 does?

Thanks for any help, hopefully I'll have one of these monsters under the christmas tree sooon

Walkera LB QR is much much............ better to handle wind, compared to X100. I own both quads.

Good choice. It's nearly indestructable and easy to pilot.
If you like a funny wasp design you could also buy the v997. It's identical from a technical point of view, even radio is interchangeable with the x100.

The same goes for MJX x100 spares. Both use very similiar parts in size fitting each other. Technically it's a 100% match as well, so you could utilize offers for the v997 spares. They just bring a new look.

Of course if you want bigger. Have a look at the MJX x200 that aims at the mQX size.

I compared LB with v939 which is praised for 9x radio compat. and didn't see equal contenders, but I liked the FlySky 9x compatibilty of the later. I guess the Vitality Aviator JJ-H36 can easily compete, maintaining FlySky 9x compatibilty the same time.

Anyway for a beginner, I recommend v997 and x100 in the nano class or to start with a bigger one, micro size (mQX class) that are generally easier to pilot for quad starters.
