These little quads must be easier to make than the 3 ch coaxials. Less moving parts to assemble and produce. Plus they pobably have a higher profit margin? Just think how many of these little boogers we'll have to choose from in a year or two.

I can solve this easily:
Walkera Ladybird flies with a radio called Devo for example.
What they did was to replace the Walkera Rx with a mQX AS3X 4-in-1 Rx, a mQX Centerplate, solid carbon booms and equipped the LED lights. Now ladybird is accesible for Spektrum Users.

They didn't invent a special canopy for the LadyQX. Since it needed a big size canopy to cover the larger mQX Rx, they just used a Kinder Joy to create their ladyFUN.

Of course the could have used one of the aftermarket canopies from mQX, but that would have driven the price up. I think at least one of their team loves eating this chocolate, that's why they have it for free and can give it away with a modded Ladyfun QX

Looks nice... glad all this overtime lately is gonna allow me to hop back into this hobby with a pretty decent collection

I wish Horizon Hobby would have done this, I'm not sure why they think every thing micro has to be gear driven.

If the dimensions they show are correct (30cm motor to motor), the x200 is much larger than the v929 (15cm m-t-m).

If they continue the build quality and flight experience of the X100 quad and F45 fp, this is going to be a must have.

Just saw it now - the 30cm...

From the pictures it doesn't look that big, and the battery is still 600mAh and weight is similiar to the V929 too -We will know for sure when there will be some videos of it.

It seems to have a 6mm booms, thats an advantage for me - I brake the V929 booms too easily, I need to try the straws idea and see if it makes it more durable...

Edit: There are some Videos of it, but It is hard to estimate the size of it from these movies - but it looks bigger then the V929, so I guess 30cm is the real size.

If that photo is real and untouched, then the 30 cm motor to motor length is probably a typo.

If I can drop a spektrum board in there then this will be high on the list.
