These figures above are making me wonder if this is the case as 5 minutes max is the flying I'm getting out of my ladybird and that's when flying indoor in a larger space so I'm not pushing it crazy.

Stnekryparen and shafter, I will definitely be interested in hearing your thoughts on the nanotech 260mah when they arrive. I'm thinking about picking up a few, but would like a few peoples input before buying them and waiting a few weeks for them to arrive.

there are a lot of (heated) discussions on the topic of charging (and if you do not mind -- I'll will not burn myself on this topic...) the rig in the photo seems to be a 3S 1P ( http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/lipo.html -- Show Balancer wire hookup? = Yes)

Perfectly *safe way of charging 3 cells of the same C rating and capacity in series.

*Usual caveats apply.

Hi Gents,
This was my report a few pages back:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...postcount=1534
Bottom line is they are all fun to fly

Some Gents have observed the V939 turns a bit tighter than the LadyBird. I have the LBV1 and it is at the top of my list for flight performance and stability especially in windy conditions in both accelerometer or gyro modes. I got the $58 deal with a 2402d from Nitrohobbies a couple of weeks ago. It is $75 there now. If it was the original price in comparison to the V939, I don't think you would see a $100+ difference in flight performance. I feel that Noobs should start with the $40 V939 and then get the LB or other micros. You can never have too many multicopters.
Cheers,
Jim

How do you feel for a full-fledged review LB V1/2 vs V939 ?

Oh I've seen the heated discussions regarding the use of multiple little 1s cables. The difference here is it has a balance plug which I think would make it much better. Plus I'm not looking to speed charge. Just looking to see actual readings of my lipo.

When X100 flying like crazy with a lot of altitude changes in my garage (5,6 x 5,6 meter) without crashes the:

- 260mAh Nanotech last for 6:45 minutes, with good punch. 2 and 3 charge.

-300mAh X100/MiniPet OEM last for 6:05 minutes, this was used for about 40 times.

-300mAh X100/MiniPet OEM last for 8:10 minutes, this was used for about 12 times.

End voltage when disconnecting battery directly after flight was 3.46 Volt.

For the X100 I still think the X100/MiniPet OEM battery is the best choice.

S,
For comparison, I just flew the MJX X100 with the UDI 250mah and got 9min, approx 12 times usage on the lipo, ending voltage after 1 min rest was 3.43v. The X100 with the MJX 300mah lipo lasted 7.45min, approx 20 times usage on the lipo, ending voltage after 1 min rest was 3.41v.

Maybe I just got a couple of really good UDI 250mah lipos?

Cheers,
Jim

Clarification: balance charging harnesses (the title of the item in the link) aren't in series, they're in parallel, just not the "join all the reds wires and all the blacks together as if it was one big battery" type of parallel. The combined voltage (series) is only measured, not used to charge with. Which is why you can mix same type, but differently discharged batteries in the harness and not overcharge any of them. (Q: Why would you do that? A: You may have less than 3 flat batteries). You can also mix diffferent capacity, 240, 300, 350mAh together, as long as the current is rated for the smallest of them. No other caveats.

My LB/U816/MQX DSMX hybrid on 300 nanos (20-30 cycles yet):
Gentle indoor flying - 6:30
High speed outdor sport flying - 5:30- 6:00
I don't have any other 250-300 batteries to compare.

With 600 nanos I got 10:00-10:30, but it's weight is too much for such a small motors.

Since the hybrid weights 3g more than original LB, I would expect about 7:00-7:30 indoor hovering. I'm charging nanos at high 5-10C no problem.

U816 batteries looks promissing, but not shure if they can survive high current charging.

Now everybody now how good the UDI batts are, and they are out of stock at Banggood. Thanks for the tip.

At present I have a lot of batteries, but when i need new ones I try the UDI.

I have only tried one "Turnigy nanotech 300 mA 35-70C", after 3-4 times charging with 0.9A ( 3C) the cell puffed and was useless.

I have one more new cell, I charge it tomorrow, perhaps the first was faulty.

The Nanotech 600mAh is really good, I use them successfully in V929.

My ladybird charger seems a little finnicky and because of that I can't verify whether or not it's sometimes getting a full charge. I have a lipo voltage reader but it only works on 2s or more. Didn't realize when I picked it up last week as I was wanting it specifically for these little walkera lipo's to verify whether or not there getting fully charged.
Good find! Question: can I charge just 2 batteries with this parallel balance charging harness?
