I'm with you gazza that's why I removed the thrust line to zero.

Looking at the side profile of my yet to be assembled Z-84, There appears to be an upward curled lip at the TE of the main body on both sides of the motor mount. Will it act as a sort of permanent reflex?

This is what it looks like with the downthrust removed, hope to give it a fly tomorrow.

Yes the CofG is factory, although I want to push it back a little, one change at a time thou.

Ok report is lol, with 24gram 3000kv motor on 3s 1300mah 20c with 4.1x4.1 and zero thrust line, it still hand launches on about 1/2 throttle and I believe flys better than before, in a high speed dive it doesn't seem to push the nose down much, it still does it a little but it has been reduced a lot.

This is my set up now not changing anything.

I would love to Gazza but I have already tried a 50gram motor and found it impossible to get the CofG back, without adding heaps of nose weight and I hate nose weight lol.
