You mean something like this?

Was working on this conceptual idea back when I was building my first 747 but haven't decided on if the orbiter would be powered or not. If anything, I look forward to the added wing area! Should be a floater!

Now that would be neat to work on but guess we're looking at extra weight and more power for the 747 adding power to the shuttle would be neat to have as it lifts off the 747 and flies around ..but non powered one as a simple release2 chn rc glider would be better. Using the Shuttle glider for extra wing area would greatly help given the limited power could be feasible. Good luck with the idea. Still working on the idea of a single 30mm EDF motor centered on the fuse for the micro Concorde ....I know I need to re-enforce the wings and all but I think it's doable.

Working on the Concorde now and will modify it with a single 30mm airhoggs ducted fan unit with a mustang motor in it. I'll place it in the fuselage. Will be putting CF rods on the wings and hope it's going to fly. I'm also working on a Balink glider 30"ws and putting a 30mm EDF unit on it too. (love small 30mm EDF's) I already made one glider as a tiral plane and worked really well. See how it goes and will place build pictures when I start. My DF-380 is still up and flying though I need to get some better batteries

Good job on the 380 there Razors Edge I had to use a hyperion 180 for juice and seemed to fly better and balanced out better to. Only thing is the decals are always flapping away so I got some elmers glue and diluted it down and got the decals back on again. Good for indoors.

Hey Bert,

How bout a micro profile B2?

Use the brick from the umx mossey or keep it simple and use the usual AR64XX?

Hey Bert, Great planes! Are you going to do any more 30mm jets? some of us have a few crashed RTF sabres and migs out here with no donor airframes to use. I have the X32 but was for some reason never able to get it to fly right. It has control issues. I know it's something I'm doing wrong. But something more conventional would be great. Birthday is comming up and I always loved the Dynex. But I will probably get that one before my birthday cause it's so cool.
thanks for the great designs.

Keith thanks so much for the kind words. I have been working on the micro retract project, but am about to put it on the back burner for a while. I have several ideas for the 30mm fan unit that should make some folks happy. I might start a new thread Sunday with pictures of a prototype and specific details.

Neil, the B2 would be cool. I have done a large version of it and it was very complex.

Bert
