Can we order th small Concorde yet? I would love to make it for a single 30mm EDF unit in the under the fuse. What is the over all weight of it? Gary is now working on the XB-70 and should be ready soon thanks for the mods on the engine box Bert hopefully it will work with twin 30mm EDF in it. Will keep you all posted on how it turns out.

I do not think the 30mm unit is going to be an option. The airframe is way too small. We could always design one for the 30mm units. I was talking to someone the other day about a twin 30mm model. A B1B with variable wing sweep was what I was thinking about.Canít wait to see the XB-70 with multi fans installed!

The micro Concorde SST is now up for sale on our website: www.profileplanes.com

Thanks,
Bert

You should DEFINITELY make one for 30mm units...then i would buy one FOR SURE. Im not buying one of the micro airliners anymore because they aren't EDF (which i already knew, but was just excited to see an airliner), but if you make an EDF platform, I'd buy it for sure.

WOW! Did I just open up a bag of whoooppeee for 30mm EDF!! Sorry Bert. I will still order the small Concorde anyway,I was thinking of putting it in the middle some how and see what happens to it. The unit will be out of my UM Mig-15 it has plenty of thrust and the weight is of the Mig is alot more than your Concorde and the wing just a tad shorter (Mig ws is 16" and weighs in at 2.75oz which makes your Concorde much lighter and ws smaller, probably need to re-enforce the wing with CF rods but still will weigh in lighter, so the thrust to weight ration will be pretty good ). The idea of the B-1b sounds real neat imagine a twin EDF and Swing wing, (think high wing loads and weight here) good idea though. I'm having fun with my DF-380 and trying to get an indoor gym fly in happening around October. I also got a new camcorder to play with now and will be doing some videoing soon.(still need to learn or remember to put vids here from you tube ....I know it's easy but my brain forgets alot more than it can remember LOL)

Got the mini Concorde and will start putting that together after I finish the Champ 25E I'm now working on. Thanks for the extra material Bert I have two EDF 30mm one is a brushed one from an old Air Hog (I put a mustang motor in it) this I can use a 1s battery(same as what you use for the DF-380) and the other is a brushless from the UM Mib-15 which I think might be a bit to much. Well we'll see how it goes.
