So hobbytown finally got my arms in, took them a little longer than 2 weeks. Well the $tree foam is too thick to use the end clasps so I cut the slots and glued them in. Its not going to be a high speed wing so the glue should hold fine.

Soooooo.....been a while. I have completely forgotten about this little project. But I did find everything so tomorrow I will start on it again! As it is friday tomorrow I will get off a little early so I should be able to finish it. The only set back will be if I cant find my exacto knives.

I can't this weekend, it my anniversary. But I'm free Monday-Wednesday and from Jan 4th on. I actually have no problem driving that far now as I don't have my jeep anymore.

I have to order some more lipos for my slow stick as the ones I have went bad somehow. I'm not entirely surprised as they are blue lipos and I have been using them for a year plus now.

Spent some time before I leave with my family back in South Carolina so the project got put on hold for 2 weeks. But today I started back again.

Nothing major. I covered the LE with some tape to prevent damage and bring the CG a little closer to where I want it. But tomorrow I have to look around for some weights as the tape was still not enough. I was concerned the 3-in-1 wasnt going to be strong enough to hold the servos on tight but as it turns out the glue is awesome!

Still have not come up with anything to secure the lipo in so I taped one of the two I have in there so I can get a flight once the CG is correct.

So after not wanting to wait till tomorrow for weights I dug through the coin jar and pulled out a handful of change. Turns out it cost me $1.10 to get it balanced out

So after lots of swapping of coins starting with 6 quarters and going down. So it finally balanced out right with 4 quarters and 2 pennies all the way to the nose but I really didnt want to cut the nose out. So I went back a little with 2 nickles instead.

Cut and trimmed they all fit in with only one coin out the bottom. I would say all in all I should be good to go in the morning.

It fly's! Its not a rocket, the rolls are slow and there isnt unlimited vertical so basically the exact opposite of the stryker I'll post a video of it later. Its a crappy video but its the only camera I have.
