I like the hangar you used to keep it in, with the rotating carousel

what are you flying now?

Yes sold it to Rob, and I think he did not fly it often. I am guessing the finish is still very good for an older sailplane? Now a Mini Nimbus C in the same space in the carousel. I still remember how I use to feel after a good flight in the DG, I was really in love with it. Looks like good lift today for you. We get clouds with high bases and strong lift again on Monday, after down time due to our monsoon. Are you logging to OLC?

If you have a data logger of one type or another you can upload your flights. Do you have "See You"?

Here is my Gold distance flight I mentioned.

A shot from today. Cloudbase started at just over 2000' and steadily rose to about 4500'. Some really good lift but also lots of areas were very hard to work.
I am trying to recover a video that says file corrupt, sooooo there may (or may not) be a short video later!
EDIT I managed to recover a portion of the video!
Astir autumn thermal (0 min 50 sec)

What power is the C150 tug? And what's the typical density altitude, as the take-off roll looks horrendously protracted? The climb rate also looks "marginal"!
Jealous of the very open scenery.

the towplane is a "150" 150. ie, 150 HP.

I tow as well, and it gets really interesting when you have a trainer loaded with instructor and student.

summer temps are typically 100-108f and the DA sometimes is about 4500 feet. I use 10 degrees flap
