What he said -it's great stuff. Or: if you like FanFold, you'll LOVE MPF.

Just order some and try it out for yourself.

Nice to know some of the magazine ads are working.

Has anyone else seen one in any other magazine?

I gave Ken a call as soon as I opened my Model Aviation and saw it. It is in the New Products section. So i would say better than an Ad!

SGT,
Thanks for letting us know. We submitted new product releases to the magazine as well as placing ads in the classified section of those that have them. As far as I know MA is the first to use the new product info.
I'd love to see it. I hope you can bring it to our flying sesion Tues. at Stony.

We are missing your participation.

Odd
Just summarized the answer here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...postcount=1369 Earlier today.

Here is a copy of that post.

MPF vs Depron

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MPF is a little softer and less brittle. That makes it easier to form into complex shapes, and more durable (crash resistant). The basic material is the same (foamed polystyrene): same color (bright white), and same density (weight). Both can be heat set and used with the same glues. MPF comes in convenient 2'X4' sheets. That is a good size for many foamies and great for Phlat Printers. MPF is lower cost, made in the USA, and distributed by modelers for modelers.

Try it you'll like it.

Shipping foam is expensive even locally. Unfortunatly, overseas shipment is practically prohibitive. It's expensive even when shipping a full Sea container.

Seems, like soda pop, it needs to be made locally or shipping quickly becomes the greatest cost. Coke figured out a way to do it. Maybe we just need a bunch of local "bottlers" and distributors to use our magic formula and send us a cut.Dreaming....
