I've been using the Mk1 as the beater bike, no reliability problems whatsoever after I beefed up the crash bar area with 2-part epoxy and use a coke bottle lexan body on it. Also it's direct steering. . . It's so light that a crash doesn't immediately break anything like on the HOR. It' not going to out drive an OTO or anything (wouldn't recommend putting a brushless in the Kyosho due to the fragile nature of the 3 part gearbox) but it's pretty close. I've since replaced the forks with USD oil forks for better front suspension.

Don't know if I've posted this before, but here's the direct steering HOR with moving rider. Basically I made a cutout on the left side plate and stuck a micro servo there to control the steering while the original servo works the rider. You must have a 3channel radio to independently trim out and reverse each channel. Then I had to remove the left side fuel tank to make room for the steering shaft.

Best of both worlds! Handling and moving rider.

Thanks, well that's thrown a spanner in the works! Should i just go for a Le mans DM 20 motor?

I now have no idea what to do or where to start!

Very impressed with the modifications you have carried out, very impressive skills indeed!

Got the repro Pepsi Suzuki decals from ebay in the mail today. They are great quality, I wish I could do these myself. The scan is perfect.

Anyone got a picture of the crest on the back of Ron Haslem's helmet , a logo scan would be ideal , as I am making my Pepsi Suzuki the number 8 Haslem bike .

Haslam pepsi suzuki

Hi.
Got some work done on the Suzuki while I wait for parts for my Honda HOR .
Painted all the white parts in prysmic white and fitted an all new set of decals .
I couldn't get away with the number boards , so ended up painting them on .
I have printed off some decals for the number and some of the small decals , to make it into number 8 , as ridden by Ron Haslam.
The decals will be added when dry , and then some work will be needed on Mr Haslam to finish the bike .
Then onto the Honda to complete the set , Spencer colours for that one .

Has anyone got copies of the instruction manuals for the MK2 HOR NSR please?
I knew stripping the 1st one down while waiting for all the other parts was a bad idea as i've spent a couple of hours over the last few nights getting nowhere!

Hi All.
Stuck on board ship in the north Pacific for a couple of weeks (repairing a liner )
So I did some computer work on the helmet logos for my Ron Haslam Suzuki .
I have put them all onto a word doc for printing out on decal paper when I get home
I simply resize them on the word doc to fit and print them off .
