YES, the Viper will get the 10x23 prop to test with, I am going more for speed and burstes, so it will be pretty much wattage into those props, trying to get to +220mph level flight or more.....
This is also why I have choosed to put in bigger servos in wing, to absolutely zero the chance of flutter, just waiting for my covers to fit 12mm servos show up mow, will be making linkages of 2-56 rods and sullivan clevis ..... allready done the elevator linkage with thicker wire then stock, SUPER stiff...

Hi Speed-guys!
After flying season, now building season starts again! We are working now on finishing the plugs for our third Typhoon plane the Typhoon XXS (173 cm span)! We hope that we can start mold building within the next two weeks, to finish everything to start building the first planes for testing!
We also improoved fuse and wing building for our other planes so we could save a lot of weight without loosing stiffness! Typhoon XS fuses now weigh about 195g, the last three wings we made came out with 600, 622 and 624g full bullet proof for showflying with more than 400 km/h!
For competition we want to save some extra g to use bigger motors/more cells for the world record attempts!
The last days i designed some new nice colour shemes for the new Typhoon XXS, or for all other Typhoon planes!
I hope you like them!

Ciao, Marcus

Is the XXS the largest one you guys are making....sorry about that tried to read it without the glasses on...which is why I am so interested in the larger speed planes.

Hi Arcticflyer!
The XXS is the smallest plane of the Typhoon-series with 173 cm span and a max. FAI weight of about 2950g!
The Typhoon XS has 186cm span and a max. FAI weight of about 3295g and the largest one is the Typhoon with 210 cm span and a max. FAI weight of about 3900g with up to 16S on a 4535 Powercroco!
This year we have flown the Typhoon XS with a 4235 Powercroco on 10S 4000 SLS APL, a YGE UHV 320 on props up to 11x26 above 430 km/h on the first flights (flights 2-8 in total with the new plane without any training) in competition without using the full potential of the setup at weights between 3060 and 3080g! Im sure with more training we can go far above 450 km/h! Our aim for next year is to use the same setup in the Typhoon XXS by saving some weight but it should be possible and of course faster!
The Typhoon XS and Typhoon will be used next year for world record attempts with up to 16S 3300-3500-4000 cells! Im doing a lot of new props at the moment and we will have to do a lot of testing next year to find the perfect prop for each setup and plane but i will get help from Stefan Baier and of course Dr. Ralph Okon and the fastest electric man in germany (or world?) at the moment Kai Koppenburg which will hopefully lead to success!

Ciao, Marcus

A new Typhoon has left the molds last weekend!
This one was build for the speed world record attempts with a special layup!
Overallweight for wing, fuse and stab is 995g calculated for 45G and around 500 km/h! Not bad i would say for a 210 cm span speeder and so enough room for a big setup with 4535 Powercoroc and 14-16S!
We will see how fast it will go this year !

Ciao, Marcus

Hi speed-guys!
Good news from the Typhoon-series!
Stefan Baier and i did a lot of work, resin and money on the new molds for the Typhoon XS and XXS and now we have 4 production molds ready! One for the Typhoon, two for the XS and one for the XXS and of course plugs for all of them for further moldsets if needed!
The last Typhhon XS and the XXS molds need the end polish and we can start production for our this years competition planes!
We also finished a new Typhoon XS last weekend with a new layup and could reduce weight again without loosing needed stiffness!
The complete empty Typhoon XS (186 cm span) calculated for 45g and about 500 km/h has an overall weight of 835g! So about 2450g left for motor, controller, and lipos to get FAI-legal !
Kai is getting the Typhoon and XS this week and will start flying and training in about two weeks! We will see how fast he will go with the new 42-, 45- and 50-Powercroco series!
To be continued !

Ciao, Marcus

Hey Marcus,

why just 45g ?!
Your wing is able to do about 135g!
Thats a bit careless...
