She is destined for a Phoenix Spacewalker, the exact same as yours, see post # 27.
I may be some time before I get to fly her, as I'm still waiting to get my shed built, I have the concrete slab, & the shed arrived last week, but my builder was in hospital, until Friday of this week.
This how I set her up.

Looking good Alan. I may need to try a 17x6 APC. Using a lighter and smaller wooden prop my idle was not as low.

horizon hobby website sugest that FG21 should swing 3-blade prop 14 x 9 to 15 x 7

Do you think I can install a 3 blade 16X10??

I can't say for sure. Since gassers run hotter than nitro engines if I had to make that choice I would stay with a recommended prop, especially until the engine was well broken in. 16x10.....quite a bit of pitch. Just my opinion. I can't back this up with experience.

Good advice from Mr Skypup. Stick with the recommended props - the engine will overheat if you overprop it. Not a big deal, but you will find the engine running ragged at WOT after about 5 minutes until it dead sticks.

In my FG21 manual, it states the prop range as 15x6 to 17x6, I have not overpropped it, I'm just at the upper limit.
I finally have my shed built, see pix, all I need to do now, is to get power & lights, & all my benches, lathe, drill press, grinder, tools & planes, in it & I will start my Spacewalker.

I just picked up a used fg-21. I started it ok but it stops as soon as you get above half throttle.
As it is used it is not set to factory settings . I am looking for some tips on tuning this engine.

Do you tune as per a glow 4 stroke or being gas is there a different procedure

I would try opening the needle valve 1/2 turn at a time and see if this solves the problem. Otherwise try blowing through the fuel line and see if it is clear at full throttle. Sounds like blockage from needle valve setting or stuff in the high speed jet system is your problem.
