Joe,
Did you have an issue with the tabs on F15 not lining up with the cut outs in the fuse?

Joe,
Your model is looking good and I hope you enjoy the build as much as I did. Do be carefull with the cabin window pillars as I accidentally broke mine several times during the build.

Its a pleasure to fly this model but the wind must be minimal to zero or it just gets knocked around too much.

Ready to fly!

Hi Guys,
I am ready to fly, just have to install the pushrods! Weight is 6.2oz !!:D with battery!!!Should really be a fun flyer! I did use Bass wood for the wing spars as the they will not brake when using rubber bands on the wing hold down!

Joe,
Nice job, what battery are you using and did you need to add any lead to make it balance?

Joe,

How would you rate this build? Could a first time builder build one or would you need a couple builds under your belt?

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Frank,
Yes a first time builder could do it Just read the instructions first, then follow them to the letter! You will find that you can do it Really go it! I can help if, you get stuck.
The pride in building your own will make you smile!! And its really fun

Thanks Joe. I was afraid in recommending a first build to someone that I have not built myself.

We were discussing it here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...1825388&page=7

Glad to hear the QuickOats is recommended for a beginner builder.

Thanks again,

Frank

Totally agree Joe, but it sometimes very hard to convince someone that has never built a balsa plane to do so. But we have been trying.

This helped: Model Airplane Building Clinic ~ Building A Kit

Maybe it is time for another one?
