Delta Force Mini Sniper

I have been eyeing this cool little hull since it came out, I have always had a secret hankerin' for a fast little guy like this.

Got it from OSE and it came packaged very well, upon inspection the boat is very well made and the hatch fits perfectly. It will be an easy tape job too!

I have some items ready for it and still have the hardware on the way.

This dude is not going to be lacking in the power area.................my very premature guess would be in the low 40's.

I've thought about one of those on several occasions but never pulled the trigger.

Does it come with the scoops shown in the 1st photo and you have to glue them on? I didn't see them in in of the other pix.

Yep, scoops come with it, they may be glue on or bolt on from the underside, I havent opened them yet. This should be a fun boat since my sons minimono really scoots and handles well and its only 15", this one is 23" x 7".

little rascal

Now is the motor a 2845/3.5y 2550kv 32 a with a 632 Octura prop? Oh btw ,is it anti-turn-over. Not sold any more. I put a ADS 300 in a wooden 22' wooden boat on 3s and moved right on out and stayed cool.

Hello Scorpion1, may I ask the cost before shipping, and is that gel-coat red or have you changed it?

TIA,

Michael

The hull was $75 and the color is the way it came, i have a guy who paints cars that wlll paint and clear it for me for free, price is right. I will pinstripe it down the side over the seam after paint and clear over it.

My hardware should be here anytime, going with 4mm driveline.

Should be a fun little boat! I'm sure it'll run better with the smaller prop too!

Yeah, the 438 just seems 'right' for it, still some beef to it but not so large.........its kinda like running an x445 on a 32" i would imagine.

Question: I need input on whether to run the 3656 2700kv on 3s or the same motor in 1800kv on 4s. 4s would sure balance it out better and I found some 3600 2s's that would fit nicely. A single 3s would have to sit crossways above the stuffing tube which would work............hmmmm.

and............I answered you parsons cuz you are a fellow "Plus" member.............we're cool.....................LOL

Here' basically what a 3s setup would look like with a modest 4000 3s batt in it. Not much adjustment room and the lipo would be tuff to get out.

Need a 36mm tail ring? I threw one out but I'll dig it out and send it to you for the cost of shipping.
That thing should scoot along pretty well though on the X438.
And about your 32" on X445, I run one with a K51

It doesnt need a tail ring but thanks for the offer! The mount has 2 bolts on each side that hold very well.

I think I'm gonna go 3s, and heres why. I can fit two 3s 2700 35c lipos on each side easily and run 3s2p for 5400 mah and 175+ constant amps.

These are the packs: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html

When I read your question about 4S or 3S I immediately thought 2 smaller 3S packs in parallel.
When scrolling down I see you answered yourself
