Hey John,

The jet is mine (Harry was the pilot). I had 14 previous flights of my own on the wing, stabs, and vertical. The fuse is new with the repower.

I put a mylar thrust tube in it.
The intakes are stock, except for two holes that break out into the cabin area for ESC cooling.

I would need 2 months to build an airframe and do testing just for that. I just don't have the time these days, with trying squeeze in new demo jets. I got two new ones coming up. One of them is in transit now.

I just got the 3rd video from Fridays flights done. At least I got it done by midnight.

Yeah huh.
Well I think I'm about done this one for the time being. Got tooooo many other projects waiting.
  • F-20 beta build/wood parts design drawings
  • SAPAC L-39 gear bays repair
  • Kantana 50mm repair
  • Carbon mains gear doors redesign
  • New 90mm Demo jet project in transit.
  • New 90mm Victory jet Demo jet soon
  • Byron F-20 conversion (still needs a 120mm EDF)
  • Daily web maintenance, shipping and fan building.
  • Blah blah blah......
Thanks for making me write down the "to do" list.

Your stuff went out today.

Nice vid Gary, thanks for posting! I know you don't like to spend much time on foamies but it seems like the Habu is an exception. That setup sure has a real distinct sound to it. Very nice.

Thanks.

I don't dislike working with foam

I love working with and modifying foam....... EPS foam. (EPS grinds and sands wonderfully)
Then usually glassing it with WBPU or finishing resin.
It's working with EPO that dislike. Try thinning the wings the wings, stabs and vertical to 50% of thier original thickness with EPO.

Here a few shots of some foam.

Thanks super.

Been busy trying to get some F-20 dwgs done today.
The very last two pics (with Monster decals on both wings) is this second place speed contest "loser". (or so says Bob )

173 mph Phase 3, F 16 (0 min 44 sec)

I love that little P3 F-16, probably the best foamy on par with the Habu!

I wish there was a little bigger (made for 70mm) F-16 molded in EPS.
Oh well, I got some thing better in the works.
