BTW, I just tried to go with a bigger battery and a 6cell 3300mAh just made it in (just).

I think full ducting would be great, the inlets are around 100% fsa (hyperflow) maybe a little smaller with a good radius say 90%ish.


Again as with the evader to go to a bigger fan the tailcone is the real issue, to get the exit dia to the desired size will require some work maybe even as far as cutting off the cone completely or just a bit to open it up.

Lets toss a few more ideas out there for power systems

I would love to find a motor to push the hyperflow closer to 60k (currently 54-55,000) with full ducting!

Or a hayoe 64mm cut to fit an alfa 60mm housing.

maybe just the full hayoe 64mm or het 6404 with a dons or bigger motor dang it i just dont know! lol

Anyway as you can see by the pics super k posted this is a really well made kit, with lots of room for batts and with the wing being delta and the servos out of the fuse there is so much room for whatever direction you want to go!

Not worried about the tailcone at all, If I go with the 70mm unit I intend to just remove the pre installed cone for the hyperflow and shorten the tailcone out to what is needed and just go with a mylar tailcone inside.

what is the ideal tail cone size for a 6904 etc?

Personally I like Double E's idea on post #59 &60 but can someone else give me there 2cents on it?

around 55mm, the best youll get without shortening the outside tailcone is 49mm, might work tho sum one is gonna have to try it

I think it would, and you can always open the hatch back up if need be.

For me ducting is a fun project, I have nothing against the cheater hole and will probably fly it before installing ducting but i want to nail down what size fan to install so i can start a mould.

I wish I can say the same about the ducting but I have never tried making them.

I'm thinking a cs70/10 blade cut down to 65mm in a delta v-480 housing with a bl32 motor on 6s
65c 3300 nano .......whoooah!!!!

I need another project like a hole in the head but I might have to go pick one of these up and see what I can do to work out a hotter setup.

That all sounds good guys but why just not go with a 70mm unit?
