I am sure that I installed props/motors properly, clockwise and counter clockwise alternatively. Anyway I will double check it again.
I have got FlyFun-40A-V4 ESC's (Switching BEC) and I don't know if I have to disconnect the red wire when connecting it to the YS-X6 FC.
I see that the FC is already powered directly from the battery, so I don't know if power from the ESC's can create a problem to it.
What is recommend to do?

Where the fc already has it's own power have power also coming in from bec's could only cause problems , but that's just my 2 cents

YS-X6-C'hwil,

My ZeroUav flying machine.

At least, I fly my Hexa (HomeMade frame) with YS-X6.

I had to change the 25A Turnigy TY-P1 ESCs to 25A Flyduino SimonK Firmware ESCs in order to have it calibrated and flying.

Next time I will try to fly waypoints if I put all the telemetry gear in the car before going to the field...

Yes pull esc red wires off from connector, otherwise you might burn some components. For me it sounds you either have some prop/motor running backwards, wrong imu direction or wrong multirotor type cofiguration setting.

Doubt you have wrecked/burned your system. Are you getting power to the YS?

for those who are in need of installing it heres a link for gothelirc.. (thanks by the way)

one issue \you might encounter is copying it on the wrong directory. be sure to copy it in application in the root directory. cheers

guys another question though might be stupid to ask but I need to confirm. Do i need an internet connection to use the wifi app? In order to download the map from google?
First off once you are at your location open the GCS and have internet enabled so it loads the maps and caches the maps. Then once you connect to GCS wifi, of course you wont have internet. Its quiet stupid really. but that's how it is. If you live in Asia like I do and some other regions, the new Google maps wont allow you to save the maps for off line use now. Just another stupid thing in this system. The GCS on the laptop is junk and so it the user manual. For a start just look how much trouble you went through to use it on an iPhone/iPad? What ever it is you probably just voided your warranty to hack ti to use this GCS. And with a virtual unusable user manual there will be many more frustrations to come I can assure you.

I disagree, I think the PC GCS is good and also the Android GCS.

Not sure why I should have to go out and buy new ESCs at all? The copter was flying just fine for the first month or two using the DJI ESCs... I can't imagine anything has changed other than the firmware on the FC which now makes it incompatible with the DJI ESCs.
