This is mostly OT I will leave it up to the mods.....
I swear they (Gremlins) pester me so. From looking for hours for a lost screw only to find it INSIDE the engine, to finding a lost part the next day inside a shoe, now this...
I fitted a new .46 in my slimer. No big deal, flew great, performance increase was awesome. But on the last flight, I pushed it hard, wide open screaming dive then a climb out. I thought I heard something funny. Landed, looked it over, nothing obvious. No loose control surfaces, no broken spars Fired her up and scooted into the sky again. Flew a bit more modestly for a while but still, there was that buzz.
Well I landed looked her over, shrugged, and wiped it down and took it home.
Tonight I got to look closer and one of the screws into the motor mounts had nearly backed itself all the way out! No seriously I don't know how it stayed in there! Odd, vibration I guess. Now wheres that locktite?
ps; glass/plastic composite mounts.
