Cape Cod Canal RR bridge closes....
Flew around the RR Bridge which spans the Cape Cod Canal, in Massachusetts, near sunset, clouds were thick, got some nice shots of the bridge and boats, landed, then it starts to lower, I hurry to set up my EZstar again and launch for a few more circles. Even though the span was lowered, no train crossed the canal and 5 minutes later it was raised.

The other shots are from Denis on Cape Cod.

They probably lowered it so that you could get the shot!

Haha. then they should have done it sooner so I could at least gotten more shots of the process.

I have heard that the bridge lowers once or twice a day.

more shots from the Bridge flight. The large ship docked is part of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy located on the West end of the Cape Cod Canal.
