I actually had to read the damned manual to get my ESC up and runnin, I tawt it was bwok... Couple pics as I mosey through my "build". When I was a kid I was black electrical tape crazy, now it's silver, red and black sharpie's. Saw a gold one yesterday!!! Detailing the rivets worked out nice and the exhaust pipes and radiator outlets. Will be ready to fly tonight as my new 60" Beaver float plane will get here buy 10:00 AM tomorrow and my Assassin Fri. Can anyone tell me what size and where could I find a detailed pilot bust and head w/ helmet that would look appropriate for this Chinese work of art? My prop blades all balanced on the milligram, but has anyone balanced the spinner? And if so........how is it done. Never balanced a spinner before, but this one is so big it might be a good idea to do it...Thank's all for participating in this discussion and you too Orion...from what galaxie are you from??? Dave/ZEEZEE

LB, Glad to see you got the Pitts. It will be one to enjoy for a long time to come.

V8T, thanks for helping him out. You are a great example of what makes this site awesome.

Dave, wonderful detail my friend. Excellent work. I have to ask, what is with the bottle and can in the fuselage? Nice pool. I see a PBY floating in its' near future.

Orion

PS. I am from a distant planet called Cybertron. LOL!

Does that make you a Cylon??? There cool .. Reason for bottle and can was to show the amount of room in this huge fuselage, I am definetly going smoke, out the Pitts muffler tips, hell may go with sound. I could forgo that and do two 6S's... Help me find the right pilot guys... Don't make me fly the dog .....Dave/zeezee...BTW, I am getting my 60" Beaver float plane tomorrow at 10:00 AM, and I'll store it in the pool...my UPS buddy and me have become friends after 3 years of bi-monthly visit's...He came over one day when he finished early and went for a swim....Orion, come down to Nawlan's, come over and fly and swim and I'll fry us up some thin catfish...

Zee,

here ya go! 1/6 scale Ace of Iron. My good friend BM (brandonmoon) take the torso and adds the body and arms (below biceps) to them. Although on this plane you only need the Torso. He can paint it up for you @ a cost if you have it shipped to him. Hes doing one like this for me for a spare cockpit on my P51 1.7m P51, hes just waiting on my helmet and jumpsuit colors decision as he molds his. He does some great work. Hes going to do a torso only pilot for me when I get my FMS Pitts.

This is what he starts with by adding the body to the torso

MrRcSound was working on an inexpensive small smoke machine. I bought a sound unit from him for my Stuka. Love the flyby sound.
