Heres a short clip of flying near the "tail of the Dragon" in TN, I wanted to fly the Dragon but it was too windy and there was no place to launch from

With mine i didn't have any Problems but verifying it is correct may be a good idea.
So i made this little video to show a super quick way to making sure

If you position the UHF antenna down or upside down opposite as you post you will get better rc reception

Same as if you put video antenna pointed down.

Batteries and blocking things make transmission not good

It's not negative or positive but rather collectors that can be above blocking stuff

Main antenna for UHF should be pointed down and clear and free of all stuff

Secondary is collector put that facing up

re:Fascination Maiden

Awesome tandem flying and a beautiful plane. I also have one I'm building for video. Your's is a very clean setup, hardly any drag.. Cool scenery, you would have thought the mud flats would have been good for a thermal or two though..

Hobbyking Transall C-160. Not the first airframe that comes to mind when you think of FPV. Stock wing has pretty high wing loading (49 grams per sq. ft.) so I swapped it out with a Twinstar II wing. Now it flies like a heavy Twinstar (6 lbs 12 oz w/FPV gear) Virtually unlimited room inside for 2 4400 mah batteries, all the fpv gear, gyro. You can even install the 5.8 cloverleaf inside towards the rear.

Using the 808 #16 keychain camera which has live video output for FPV. Works pretty good, and very light.

Transall C-160 Landing touch and go (4 min 40 sec)

Transall C-160 1st flight (5 min 10 sec)

Transall C-160 2nd flight FPV (6 min 39 sec)
