AGREED...nothing worse than gaping frog mouth inlets with those cheater hole mesh guards you can barely even tell its there. Keep doing what you're doing Scott, great work so far

Its been done, checkout the harrier thread. I posted a video on there of a vtol rc f35, transition from hover to flight was very good and stable as well. I'd link it here but I'm doing this from a tablet and still haven't figured out how to cut/paste links on the darn thing

Flying off a dirt runway would be a bonus for me. I fly off a gravel runway. The fan blades have a few small nicks in them but the thing just keeps on flying and doesn't seem to be terribly affected. I get off the ground under full power right from the start and the plane appears to get ahead of any rock spray that comes off the front gear. Even taxi-ing off the runway and onto the grass, I don't detect any rock sounds in the fan.

Facebook I think.

It's unlikely it will be the Vixen. Scott did say that they tested it a couple of weeks ago and added that it will about a month after that. I don't think the factory could have produced, assembled and shipped to HK within 2 weeks.

There's a Spitfire on the way as well.
