So true Scott! I grew up in the UK, and I can remember the last gasps of that era…when all the airshows had Lightnings, Vulcans and the Red Arrows flew Foland Gnats.
I suppose a Harrier is out of the question....?

Yes, those were the years. I worked at Farnborough and Thurleigh in the late 50's early 60's and the variety of aircraft I worked on and/or saw pass through was a who's who of world beating British Aviation. Wonder if they will offer one of the "civilian" 'Vixen color schemes, not that the standard RN one is bad at all. One can only dream of the release of an Attacker, Swift, Scimitar, Buccaneer, SR 51, FD-2, Canberra, Avro 707 series --- the list goes on.

Beauty!!

So it's;
1100mm WS
70mm fan
4s battery.

Can you give us anymore details?
Cheater hole in the belly?
Retracts?
Battery size? (will a 3300 fit?)

With Cherries on top?!

Looks like a winner!!

Don't know about a cheater hole, landing gear looks like the same as the Vampire so retracts 99% yes and since it's a 1100mm a 3300mah should be no problem. Even 4000mah will be doable.

This will be one hotrod of an airframe....

Very nice, HK! It's great to see a mfr get some cajones and not just copy what other mfr's have been successful with!

A belly cheater hole is a deal breaker for me. Our dirt runway is real dry right now.
You guys should have seen the rooster tails coming on my touch n' go's this morning!
I would much rather wait for this bird over the Dynam 262.

Ozzie, I bet most people on here never heard of or seen a model Gnat!!! I still have a Robbe Gnat airframe, might have to ressurect it. Did that with the old Midwest foam A-4 , from TD-049 to electric (with original 22 year old econokote!), is now the sweetest flying edf you can find; grass, belly take offs are a cinch. Speaking of Gnats, my Habu is painted in the Yellow Jackets scheme -- they flew Gnats.

Just added retracts to my Vampire after using dolly, hopefully they will sell base airframe for the Vixen and I can again install my own electronics and gear.

Back to the thread ------.

Its just a beautiful looking jet. Would love to see some pics mate. The proportions seem SO right. Scott told me ages ago in another thread that he wanted to make one but was out voted.
