Hi Dialfonzo,

I'm not so sure if that is so relevant since i saw your quad flying but looking at the pictures seems the place you have for the FC is out of the CG. Am i wrong?

This is what i mean

Cheers

No the blue round is where i think you have the flight controller. The CG is in the red cross.

The center point of the 4 motors is not the CG since they is not a symetrical quad, the back motors are not the same distance as the front hence why the CG is shifted forward.

The CG is not the red cross cause if you calculate the lenght, you don't have equal lengh red line for all motor to center.

The CG is the blue circle you draw.
Since that is a circle draw that connect to each motor.

Like Flitelab said, it's imposible to have a "Perfect" rounde spyder with equal lenght DJI arm.. lol

I have fly the quad with and without the GoPro up front. So one flight was really off balance due to the weight all in the back. I didn't see any difference in flight carracteristics...

I am sure the back motor spin faster (since off balance) but that's probably all it does.

edit: the motors to cg lenght are all equal from the blue circle

I see what you mean and I was in doubt.
If the back motors are forced to spin faster you probably have a wobble effect. How does it yaw?

It yaw real good.
The TBS clone you did would act exactly the same.

edit: if you read what i said, i said that they run faster because there was not GoPro up front.

In fact it was not an attack to him.
His frame look awesome and he cut it by hand..

Lot .. Lot... Lot... of work involve there and he even did the power distribution thing..

He just ask for FC and CG placing.

BTW: i could buy a set of PCB plate to try and cut a power distribution to the frame. But would need a good set of coating to the plates to be sure no short..
