Thanks guys. If it flys any where near as good as it is building. We should have a winner here.

It's funny...i would get on a build roll and forget tot take pics and then have to go back and shoot photos. LOL

For those that may be starting the build and are not aware. My build photos are here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1694231

Hope they are helpful

I'm hoping to get to that later today. If time allows. Very happy so far with how it's going together.

There are a few areas where the instructions are not very clear or they have not been updated since enhancements have been made. I have contacted Brad at TH and RC Factory and they are working on updating the instructions.
The discrepancies are nothing major, just a little confusing. I am trying to address these areas of the build and make notes as I go. If you follow both the kit diagram and the build thread photos and narrative’s, you should do just fine. If you still have any questions, feel free to PM me. And I’ll be more than happy to help.

Shawn

My Build Progress

Thus far, this thing has built incredibly straight and accurate.

I am using Ron_Dog's "Coke Method" to build this plane but so far the Coke cans have mostly been used for weight.

I checked the "dry" alignment to the fuse before I glued the horizontal stab last night. It was exactly correct due to the keying built into the pieces. I wasn't expecting that. Typically, you can have some variation but this one is dead on because of RCF's production methods.

I glued it up and rechecked the alignment measurements - dead on.

What is so difficult about it? I don't have one but the directions look pretty simple.

It's not difficult, just unfamiliar to most.

Proper tension is the thing that scares most people.

I have a method for making the strings easily re-adjustable as does Hercdriver7777.

I'll share mine here as my build progresses and I suspect Shawn will address this as well.

I'll be using herc's method for the Pull Pull cable adjustments. Very clever method

Also i have an important build note. Make sure to install the motor mount prior to installing the top fuse section. It is one of the enhancements they did but apparently they did not change the instructions ( unless I missed it) I also believe that using tooth picks or using anchoring tabs as they mentioned is no longer necessary as I did not receive any in my kit.
I used plenty of Welders to adhere the mount to the surrounding EPP.

Use this Diagram Sheet for your build. It shows the updates.

The build instruction sheet appears to be for version 1.0 of this plane. The Czech version "Datasheet" diagram appears to be updated (although page 1 is in Czech) .

My understanding is that a new English version is in the works and should be available very soon.

http://www.rc-factory.cz/ke-stazeni/dokument-529-3.pdf

NOTE - the CG is 110mm now instead of 125mm

Okay - time for supper and then back to my build.

Thanks for posting this. This is the updated diagram. In fact the link to the old one has been removed by RCF. I will insert a link to this diagram in the first thread post. RCF is indeed working on new updated instructions to go along with it.

In the mean time though. If anyone has any questions on the build don't Hesitate to ask. Lots of helpful people here that are willing to help.

I would love to take credit for the device but.... the credit goes to Hercdriver7777 (chris) who has done many of these build threads. Thanks Chris!
Sorry for the terrible picture. I'll post a new one today.
